Markus joined the EBW in 2005 and was initially responsible for IT matters. His academic focus was on the mathematical implementation of the economic evaluation of investment projects. Following the publication of his findings in his doctoral thesis (2011), he joined ÖBB, where he works in the Life Cycle Management unit since 2017 alongside his former EBW colleagues Georg and Armin, who together ensure that these findings are put into practice. Markus still supports us with our Rolling Stock conference.
