Johannes started his time at the institute back in 2014. Next to teaching he investigated track geoemtry and its improvement by tamping. His 4tamping algorithm set a new standard in planning of tamping works. When he finished his PhD, he first moved to voeastalpine and then headed on to work in the interface between politics and administration in public transport of Graz.
